i like this quote because it resonates with what is currently happening, not just in the us, but around the world. people are enraged and losing it. there are so many stories about people being horrific parents, bullying gays to the point of suicide, murdering law enforcement and the list goes on and on. it's as if we've reached the peak of tolerance as a human community and know no other ways to respond beyond aggression. this loss of civility and lack of sympathy is becoming contagiously popular and if we don't do something about it, more and more people will follow these terrible examples as attempts to correct seemingly hopeless situations. i wish there was a way i could help beyond just trying to "be the change" and trying to be a better person. what to do??
